The Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City has a holiday window stroll every year. In 2022 I was the Concept Artist and Illustrator for all 14 windows! This was the concept and promotional artwork for the opening window, Celebrate the World.

This is a poster I illustrated for a dance company in Logan Utah. Every year they put on a children’s halloween dance performance called “Under the Bed”, and they wanted the poster to reflect the different spooky characters the children perform as.

Drew this Winnie Dog (what I call King Charles Cavalier Spaniels) because I loooove this kind of dog, and I really wanted to swim that day. Drawing a pool is kind of like being in one, right?

I illustrated this after donating blood recently, because there has been a great shortage in blood donors in the past few years. It’s not as scary as you’d think, and if you can donate, someone in need will benefit.

A very enjoyable development activity. I was prompted to draw penguins in a learning environment, so this is what I came up with!

This map was originally created as a shirt for our family trip to Disneyland. Since the original design was vector artwork for shirt printing, I redrew the design in pencil to give it a bit more charm.

I signed up for the Illustrating Children’s Books course through Lilla Roger’s Agency. This was my illustrative take on the Squirreled Away story written by Zoë Tucker. Throughout the course I learned about creating your character, giving them expressions and body movement, putting them in an environment, and making a cover for the story. Such a fun class!

This was my first dabble with the iPad Pro and Procreate. One day I'd like it to be the cover of a book.

My mom asked me to illustrate her 2017 Christmas card. She wanted it to be whimsical, wintry fun, and this is what I came up with!

Windmills I illustrated for the Holland window at the Grand America Hotel's holiday window stroll in Salt Lake City. It was so fun seeing this come to life in such a large size and with motors so that the panels spun 'round!

I designed this poster for the Salt Lake Community College Art Show Poster contest, and I won! I wanted to do a limited color design that incorporated handmade type and illustrations. I drew alphabets for the two serif typefaces used, and placed each letter to form the words. I also made horizontal and banner variations. 

For my Package Design class we had to design cookie bags. I chose to focus my design around stroopwafels. I wanted the package to look like it could actually come from a dutch market, so I used Dutch folk art as inspiration. 

This was just a fun personal project exploring ideas for Valentines Day. I love astronaut and space themed art, so I thought I'd give it a shot!

I designed this for Modify Ink's March printable. Folk design is one of my favorite areas to go for inspiration. This style is so much fun to illustrate!

Illustrations for a window installation, at the Grand America Salt Lake, of the 12 Days of Christmas! These were really fun to work on because I got to research different styles of Scandinavian folk art!

I designed these penguins for the Grand America Salt Lake Christmas window displays. It was so much fun coming up with the different penguins and what they might be doing this time of year in the city! 

I created these invitations for my husband and my wedding. We wanted them to show our fun, childlike personalities, so I designed them to be little story books!

These LDS Temple paintings were painted with acrylic on canvas for my family. The temples shown are the Logan, Utah and Ogden, Utah temples.

I designed this print as the January monthly printable when I worked at Modify Ink. I wanted to do a needle point design that looked both modern and folksy.

This was just a fun personal project for February. I wanted to make a Valentine for world peace, and why not throw a face on it!

I illustrated this drummer bear and his sheep for the Grand America holiday window displays. It was really neat seeing them come to life as full size prints!

I designed this print for Modify Ink for February. I really enjoyed playing with florals in the type. 

Critters I illustrated to represent each dinner table at my wedding. Most of them are forest animals, but I decided to throw in a few fantasy ones, as my husband and I are fans of those.
